Leader, Linda Kisner ~ Meets on the 1st Monday of the Month at Vanville Church in Martinsburg, 6:30 PM

Southern Cross 4-H Club rings in the New Year Sou

The Southern Cross 4-H Club met January 5, 2017 for the first meeting of the new year. During the meeting the members were thanked by the “adopted family” representative who delivered the gifts on behalf of the club. The family was very appreciative of the warm clothes, coats & gloves as well as the other gifts. Joseph Daugherty gave a report on the market steer weigh in held on December 10 at the Berkeley County Youth Fairgrounds (see photo). Avery Lark, Abigail & Ada McCoy, and Aleynah & Rheagan Miller gave devotions. A few of the members gave their talks and demonstrations for an example to the new members and it was announced that all members will need to be ready for their talks and demonstrations for next month. Next month’s meeting will be February 6, 2017. The meeting was followed by games held by game leaders: Ada McCoy & Lillian Voysey & refreshments provided by the Lark, McCoy & Miller families.
